What’s This Obsession With Minimalist Tools?
Over the years I worked with and around the majority of the tools that digital businesses are built with. Writing, design, email, display, conversion, payment, metrics … from the single-function apps to the complex all-in-one platforms.
As a consultant I had to get the best of what was already in place, and most of these tools are a pain to work with. Most of them become a cluttered mess after a few years. Most of them force extra tasks upon you that piles up to hours each month.
I learned that there is a distinctive difference between the perks that sales pages and review blogs list to you, and the real day-to-day work experience that convert to progress, impact and income.
This difference separates a Software-as-an-Sail from a
Feature hub-as-an-Anchor.
Most tools are the latter. For you core activity - creating high-impact content you need the first. You need tool that empower you, that drive you to excel.

Isityourtool is not a traditional review blog. I don’t add content for Google rankings. I don’t stack skin-deep 'first impression' reviews recommending anything that pays, like most review blogs do.
Everything here is very specific and decisive.
I write to my 10 years younger self, sharing what I wish I knew back then, without wasting time.
My goal is to help anyone lucky who found this place, to be able choose the most effective and smooth-to-use tool set to work on, regardless of what specific business model you operate.
